Looking for a way to bring more compassion, resilience, and clarity into your everyday life? Join us for a four-week series focused on Lojong, the Tibetan Buddhist practice of mind training, adapted for the realities of modern living.

 

What is Lojong? Lojong means “training the mind.” It is a profound set of teachings designed to help us transform challenges into opportunities for growth and cultivate qualities like patience, kindness, and wisdom. These practices are practical and deeply relevant for anyone navigating stress, relationships, and the complexities of contemporary society.

  • Open discussion and Q&A

  • No prior experience required

 

This is a welcoming, queer-friendly and BIPOC-inclusive space in an accessible building, where everyone is invited to explore these transformative teachings in a supportive and respectful environment.

Antoine is a long-time Buddhist practitioner with over 25 years of experience, a social worker, and an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia. His approach bridges the depth of Tibetan Buddhist wisdom with practical insights from social work and modern life, creating a spiritual environment that is both grounded and transformative. Passionate about making ancient teachings relevant to contemporary life, Antoine invites participants to explore how compassion and clarity can flourish even in the midst of modern challenges.
